Glow & Tale was founded with a simple premise: beauty products are expensive, and consumers deserve honest, thorough evaluations before they invest their money. Too many reviews are thinly veiled advertisements. Too many recommendations are driven by affiliate commissions rather than genuine product quality.
We set out to change that. Every product featured on Glow & Tale has been tested for a minimum of four weeks. We document our experience honestly — the good, the disappointing, and everything in between.
Our Review Methodology
We follow a structured testing protocol designed to eliminate bias and deliver consistent, reliable assessments:
- Every product is tested for a minimum of four weeks under normal usage conditions
- We purchase all products ourselves at retail price — no brand-sponsored samples
- Testing is conducted across multiple skin types and tones when applicable
- Each product is evaluated on five criteria: efficacy, texture, value, packaging, and ingredient quality
- We disclose any affiliate relationships transparently on every review page
- Our ratings are never influenced by brand relationships or advertising agreements
Our Editorial Independence
